Do we give up ownership of our data?
Your company keeps its original records and systems. Mode buys the agreed, filtered copy directly from you; the agreement defines its scope and any exclusivity.
Can we control which systems and dates are included?
Yes. The agreed scope lists the approved systems and date ranges before any export. Your team reviews it and signs in to the approved systems; no passwords are handed over.
Will we have to change how we operate?
No operational change is required. Mode manages the workspace, export, filtering, and delivery. Your team reviews scope and signs in to approved systems.
How is sensitive information handled?
Mode prepares the agreed copy in a secure workspace. Sensitive material is removed, and personal identifiers such as names and contact details are removed or transformed before onward delivery.
Do AI developers receive our unfiltered records?
No. Mode provides a filtered copy for AI research and training after the sensitive-information removal step. Your original records and systems remain with you.
Will our company’s records be made public?
Mode does not publish your source records or sell them as a report about your company. The filtered copy is provided for AI research and training under the rights and restrictions in your agreement.
How is the final offer determined?
The calculator is illustrative, not a guaranteed offer. Mode reviews the systems and dates in scope, years of history, record volume and quality, and ownership and access terms before making a fixed offer.
What are the payment terms?
Mode buys the agreed copy directly and charges no broker fee. Your written agreement sets the amount and payment schedule before export.
How long does the process usually take?
Mode generally expects about three months from the first conversation through payment. The timetable depends on scope, rights review, contracting, and export; expected milestones are set out in writing.
